Mr. Norris is a social entrepreneur who has worked tirelessly on behalf of national and local community health, healthy communities, and community benefit initiatives for more than 20 years.

He will take us on a journey to examine what is next in the process of reforming our systems of care and health improvement, given the current environment (socio/cultural, economic, policy) in our states and nation.

He will help stimulate our thinking on questions such as:

• What shall we ask of ourselves as health leaders and change agents?
• How can we best prepare for change, innovate and build resilience?
• How can we deepen and demonstrate the "business case" for community health?
• What strategies should we employ in our organizations, communities, states and national associations?

Advancing Population Health:
  Achieving National Priorities with Shared Accountability

Dr. Zell is the Senior Director for Population Health at the National Quality Forum, where she is supporting the National Priorities Partnership to advance population health measurement to improve health of individuals and populations.

She will share the Partnership's vision for communities that foster health and wellness, as well as national, state, and local systems of care fully invested in the prevention of disease, injury, and disability. Come hear the Partnership's work, other emerging population health initiatives, strategies for linking measurement and accountability, and a challenge for each of us to be maximally effective in helping all people reduce the risk and burden of disease.
